We advance some excerpts from the interview of Gustavo Lascurain for the Economy section of the local newspaper Noticias de Gipuzkoa.    

‘This year we wanted to take on more complex projects, in which we have proven our good management skills thanks to our specialisation, development and in-house advanced electronics.’    

‘The security paper industry, the production of more compact specialised machines and the manufacture of rewinders are all new market niches that the company is exploring at this time.’    

‘The main difficulty presented by the new 20 euro bills was to open a window on the holographic side. We resolved this issue by applying laser technology, becoming the only manufacturer in the entire eurozone to employ this technique.’  

‘Our most regular client has been the paper industry, which handles tonnes of this material. However, new demands for smaller machines are arising now, which are restricted to simply moving the paper from the reel to the cutter.  To respond to this need, we developed a compact machine in 2014 and, in 2016, we will launch a second version with a groundbreaking design for our sector.’
